How does it work - Acoustic Showcase 2008 1. If you want to taks part of the Emergenza Acoustic Showcase you have to live in one the cities where the Festival takes place. Or in the Area. There is no enrollment fee. 2. E-MAIL Send an e-mail to the person in charge to organize the festival in your city. The addresses follow. Please specify in the SUBJECT of the e-mail: EMERGENZA ACOUSTIC SHOWCASE In the e-mail give these information: - first name and last name - phone number - if you are a solo artist or a duo - instruments played You will be contacted soon via e-mail or via phone. E-MAIL ADDRESSES WHERE TO SEND YOUR REQUEST The Emergenza Acoustic Showcase this year takes place in the following cities: - Rome, Italy - Paris, France - Bordeaux, France - Barcelona, Spanien - Berlin, Germany - Munich, Germany - Frankfurt, Germany - Hamburg, Germany - Malmö, Sweden - Stockholm, Sweden - London, UK - Budapest, Ungarn - Tilburg, Holland During each acoustic concert, 4-8 duos or solo artists perform for 20-25 minutes. Drumsets or keyboards are not allowed. The Emergenza Acoustic Showcasre is open to solo artists and duos. Musicians will find on stage two acoustic guitars (Takamine and/or Ovation) they play with. Guitar players can use their own guitar if they have an Ovation or a Takamine guitar. Votation At the end of each performance the public votes by raising the hand. The most voted guitar player wins an Ovation or Takamine guitar. A jury choses the winner who will move on to the next level: the national final or the international final directly.
